OmniWeb 5 Public Beta is Out with Unique Tabs Placement

and available for download from the Omni Group. One major new feature that we really like is that the tabs are located in a tray at the sides of the browser window rather than in the top bar. This placement does not affect the vertical real estate of the browser window, something that is a premium on wide screen displays. We wish that more of the top header would find its way to the sides, leaving only the URL field at the top to maximize the browser window's height. OmniWeb uses the same engine as Safari.
