David Pogue Answers iPod Critcisms Today

in his New York Times column. He had written an article on alternatives to the iPod and received a large amount of email criticizing the iPod for not having a replaceable battery and that it only lasts 18 months. Neither is true. iPod batteries can be bought and installed or one can pay to have Apple do it. We have three original 5 GB iPods in our family that we got when they first came out and we still listen to them virtually every day. [Dana Baggett]
