Should the iMac Lose Its Head?
Business Week writer Alex Salkever thinks so in this article. The iMac is the only line to lose sales in the last quarter, down 24%, but its been declining. Salkever suggests that the iMac's cool articulated 15-20" displays could be a super standalone consumer monitor line and we agree. He also suggests that a small headless iMac desktop, designed by Jonathan Ive and upgraded with a new cooler G5, could be a low cost consumer hit--again, we agree. We noted prior to Macworld SF that the iMac line needs a lift and these are good suggestions in our opinion. [Dana Baggett]
