Spammer Convicted of Internet Fraud in New York

according to this AP article carried on Excite news. Howard Carmack was convicted of stealing email addresses or fraudulently using the names of other people to establish email accounts to send over 800 million pieces of spam. He will be sentenced May 27 to 2-7 years in prison. [Dana Baggett]
