Apple Q3 Financial Report--Analysts Predict $0.31 Earning per Share

According to Thomson First Call the consensus of analysts is that Apple will report earnings of 31 cents per share on revenue of $3.333 billion. If correct, this would represent a huge increase over the third quarter of last year which came in with earnings of 9 cents per share on revenue of $2.014 billion. However, Apple under Steve Jobs always seems to beat the consensus of analysts estimate, sometimes by a fairly wide margin.
