Apple's Science Web Site Posted Xgrid: A "Just Do It" Grid Solution for Non ITs

Apple's Science web site has just posted an introduction to grid computing and Apple's own grid solution called Xgrid. The article is posted as a downloadable PDF file. Xgrid, a 'just do it' grid solution for non-ITs, is by Hamid Husssain-Khan and Olivier Michielin. The article is largely about Xgrid but it also provides a general introduction to the reasons for grid computing. [Bill Fox]
