The Apple Developer Connection Published Scope Your Transition Project

Apple recently announced that it plans to transition from PowerPC to Intel microprocessors. Of course, you'll want to prepare your application now so that it is ready to run natively on Intel-based Macintosh computers as soon as they become available to the public in the middle of next year. But you'll also want your application to continue to run on PowerPC Macs. If you are wondering how much work you'll need to perform to complete the transition successfully, the amount of work to prepare your application depends on the type of code you have and the compiler that you currently are using. Check out Apple's article on how to Scope Your Transition Project. [Bill Fox]
