This CPU upgrade is based on the Freescale (formerly Motorola) 7447A G4 with 512K L2 cache running at CPU speed. The compatible Power Mac G4 models include: AGP Graphics (Sawtooth), Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Audio, Quicksilver and Quicksilver 2002. The G4 CPU is a 1.6GHz chip tested at 2.0GHz.
