May Consumer Reports Lauds Apple Mac mini and iPod shuffle
The May 2005 issue of Consumer Reports magazine hit our mailbox today. On page seven it provides brief reviews of both the Mac mini and the iPod shuffle.
CR agrees with Macs Only! on the Mac mini, commenting that "The Mini's G4 processor and standard RAM [are] adequate for basic computing." It sums up by concluding that "... the Mini offers a space-saving, low-priced entry into Macintosh computing."
CR praises the performance of the iPod shuffle, its earphones and signal quality, calling it "... a very inexpensive and simple way to enjoy music on the go."
For the rather staid and highly respected consumer magazine, that's about as good as it gets. [Dana Baggett]
