Mozilla's Thunderbird 1.0.5 Email Client is Out

and available for download from this Mozilla Web page. It's an excellent standalone email client. Thunderbird 1.0.5 is a security and stability update. We use it as a backup to Apple Mail X and as our main email client when we use our tiny 1.75lb PC notebook unobtrusively for email and browsing in meetings, cars, trains, buses and other places where we need to use our Verizon broadband wireless card. We sure wish Apple's 12" PowerBook G4 had a PC card slot. We think Thunderbird is excellent. Here are the release notes. [Dana Baggett & Bill Fox]
