Skype Fixes Security Flaw with Mac Version 1.30.17 Release
Skype noted that there are three flaws in its existing internet telephone software and urged all users to download the latest. Two highly critical security flaws are in the Windows version and a third is common to the Windows, Mac OS X and Linux versions. The Mac flaw can allow someone to crash Skype remotely, not a big deal. We use Skype extensively with our iMac G5 to make long distance calls to telephones in Europe and Central America.
