TomTom GO Car Navigational Systems work with Macs

You would never know it just by perusing TomTom's Web site but the all-in-one GPS naviational system, TomTom GO, works with Macs. It has done so at least since version 5.420 of its software was released in July 2005, according to this FAQ page. Everywhere else we looked on their web site, the computer system that the TomTom GO interacts with is simply referred to as a "PC" which usually means a computer with a Windows operating system.

That TomTom GO now works with Macs is good news for those looking for an after-market car Nav System. [Bill Fox]
