All Office 2004 Applications:
Security is improved--This update fixes vulnerabilities in Office 2004 that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code.
Hyphenation is applied correctly to Swiss German content--This update fixes an issue that prevented Office 2004 applications from applying proper hyphenation to Swiss German content. Users designate content as Swiss German by using the Language command on the Tools menu.
Word 2004:
Properties are retained in large documents--This update fixes an issue that causes some document properties to be lost if you open and save a document that contains a large number of document properties, such as documents that contains more than 55 headings. This issue affects only users who have installed the Office 2004 11.2.5 Update.
Font does not change to Times New Roman after using a non-breaking space--This update fixes an issue that causes text typed after a non-breaking space to change unexpectedly to Times New Roman font.
PowerPoint 2004: Hyperlinks and Action Settings are retained3.3.1 --This update fixes an issue for users who created presentations in PowerPoint 2004 version 11.2.5. Hyperlinks and action settings are lost when the presentation is opened in PowerPoint after installing the Office 2004 11.2.6 Update.
We downloaded the 11.3.0 Update and updated our copy of Office 2004. While we don't use Office 2004 much anymore, last evening we used the updated Word, PowerPoint and Excel for various tasks and encountered no problems. We haven't used Entourage at all since Mac OS X 10.1 came out and we switched to Apple Mail. [Bill Fox]
