Bluetooth Patent Infringement Lawsuit Heats Up--Apple Added as Defendant
The Washington Research Foundation, a fund-raising entity for the University of Washington, added Apple, Dell, Sony, Logitech, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Mobile Communications, Toshiba and Plantronics to its Bluetooth patent infringement lawsuit. The defendants are accused of infringing on four patents by using chips made by CSR plc. The Washington Research Foundation claims it licensed its patents to Broadcom and is not suing companies that use Broadcom technology. More... [Dana Baggett]
