Brief Hands-On Report--Apple released iPhoto '08 v7.0.2

Apple released iPhoto '08 v7.0.2 and it is available for download via Software Update or as a stand-alone file via MacUpdate. According to the Read Me file,

This update to iPhoto addresses issues associated with publishing to .Mac Web Gallery, rebuilding thumbnails, and editing books. It also addresses a number of other minor issues.

We downloaded and installed iPhoto 7.0.2 on several Macs with no problem. We opened our iPhoto library of 1,600+ travel snapshots and no conversion occurred. All photos that we tried opened and closed with no problem and the events mode worked fine as well. [Bill Fox & Dana Baggett]
