After sorting out duplicates from readers, here is the current list of Mac "unfriendly" CompUSA stores:

Most cited MicroCenter as having an excellent Mac department which may partially explain the poor Mac department in the CompUSA store. One letter cited a good CompUSA in DesMoines, IA, and did not mention MicroCenter. Keep your cards and letters coming!

The Contest, co-sponsored by Apple Computer, Lari Software, MacAddict magazine, Cyberian Outpost and Ventana Communications, invited the international Mac community to vote for their favorite pro-Mac OS 8 banner...Out of the over 100 original pieces of pro-Mac OS 8 banner art submitted by Mac-based designers, the banners created by Cesar Cintron of Sarasota, FL, Mike Stanfill of Dallas, TX and Mark Pratt of Petaluma, CA, garnered the most votes, and placed one, two, and three in this heated competition.
