Macs Only!

Funnel Web v1.05 is out from Active Concepts. Macs Only! reviewed v 1.04 of this excellent web site analysis application. This version also bundles "Funnel Web Scheduler, a small AppleScript which provides automated log file processing at regular intervals, ideal for unattended server side processing. Version 1.05 (October 22):

• Corrected bit depth of about dialog on 8 bit monitors
• Fixed occasional corruption of Headers and Footers due to bad string lengths
• Current preference settings no longer get saved on program exit
• Fixed preference opening and saving, which did not save and restore date ranges correctly
• Added support for custom log format from BEST Communications
• Improved Common Log format detection to cope with minor variations in format
• Included wildcard support for file filters
• Fixed Error Dialog which would sometimes return an empty message
• Fixed type 4 error on processing log files with greater than 5% total errors
• Changed operation of headers and footers to accept return keys without dismissing dialog
• Bundled in new "FW Scheduler" script to provide automated log processing for servers"
