On Low End Mac, Dan Knight argues that the Mac needs a parallel port. It is a pretty good argument, one that I agree with. Apple has cut way back on its peripheral development/production and peripheral manufacturers have been dropping the Mac serial port. While PowerPrint seems to work well, a true parallel port is still quickly becoming a necessity.
