Reader Tom Mackie reports that in some PowerBook 1400's the reset pin is too long according to Apple TechInfoLib #45056 released yesterday. Pressing on the I/O (rear) door can cause a reset. Apple has fixed this but contact Apple if your 1400 has this problem. The workaround until fixed? Well, Apple says to keep pressure off the I/O door.
