WordPerfect 3.5.4 Updater

The Corel WordPerfect 3.5.4 Updater posted Friday, 8/22 is different than the one posted late Wednesday, 8/20. The Friday version is 438,296 bytes and carries a creation date of Friday at 12:16pm while the Wednesday version is 361,062 bytes and has a creation date of Wednesday 8/20 at 3:36pm. Neither updater version changed the size of the WP 3.5.3 application file when updating to v3.5.4. They showed the respective updater's creation date as the only difference.Both updated applications exhibited no flaws with rather limited typing, highlighting and printing with an Epson Stylus Color 500 from a PowerBase 180. The Friday updater updated the WP 3.5.4 application that was created with Wednesday's updater, leaving only the updater's Friday modification date as a clue, and it seemed to work fine too. The Readme file in each updater's folder is identical in size, creation date and content. Its probably best to use the Friday updater and it seems that no harm will come from re-updating a Wednesday-updated file. Corel confirmed this late Saturday on a MacFixit late update.
