Double Shutdown Problem Solved!--It's FinderPop v1.5.6

Many people, myself included, noticed that with Mac OS 8.1 the first shutdown after running Netscape resulted in the computer recycling and staying on and placing folder icons in the trash. A second shutdown worked. Reader Tom Brown found the problem, writing me that it was either FinderPop or Energy Saver or both--deleting both ended his problem. I only have FinderPop v1.5.6 recently installed--deleting it ended my double shutdown problem.

• QuickTime v3.0b18 (9.6 MB), still a beta, and
• Apple System Profiler v1.3.2 which came with Mac OS 8.1.
