"Active Concepts today released the latest update to Funnel Web, version 1.6.5 which has a number of enhancements and bug fixes over previous releases as detailed below.

A free updater and demonstration versions are available directly from the Web site.

Version 1.6.5 (24 March, 1998)

  • Fixed pause in processing with badly damaged Log lines
  • Fixed problem with invalid GET strings passed into the Common Log file format
  • Fixed scheduling when using Swiss/German date formats
  • Made all date routines year 2000 compliant using a pivot date of 70
  • Fixed problem with new WebStar tokens C-IP and C-DNS included in the log Macintosh specific
  • Increased performance by 15% Windows specific
  • Fixed asynchronous DNS lookups which sometimes returned null messages

The Professional release will also be available in version 1.6.5 in the next few days. Users will be contacted directly."
