Reader Melinda Hsu wrote that there are lots of messages on news groups reporting problems created by using Norton Utilities' Disk Doctor v3.5.2 and earlier on HFS+ formatted drives. I have v3. 5.2 and HFS+ drives and I have been reluctant to use NDD until Symantec issues a completely HFS+ compatible version. This may be a wise move.
