As you probably know, Steve Jobs announced during the October 5th iMac/Mac OS 9 Special Event that Apple has partnered with CompuServe to provide the same $400 rebate deal on a Mac in return for signing up to a 3-year ISP contract that is available on Wintels. Today, we announced an extension of our successful retail rebate program to include Apple computers purchased at CompUSA and J & R ComputerWorld. $100 / 1 year and $400 / 3 year -- at a monthly fee of $21.95 -- mail-in rebates will be available in stores beginning in November through the holiday shopping season.

We already have partnerships with retail partners CompUSA and J & R ComputerWorld. Now, we are working with them to provide CompuServe rebates for Apple computer users.
