The Special Apple Event Is Today

Steve Jobs is expected to announce and show the next iMac(s), code-named Kihei at least by the media, and to announce the official shipping date of Mac OS 9.0. He may also cover Apple's financial situation which he usually does, especially since Apple's fourth fiscal quarter just ended a few days ago, and possibly Mac OS 10.0 progress which we haven't heard about since the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference held last spring. The QuickTime 4 streaming video webcast will be shown here at 1pm EDT. Macs Only!, of course, will post a summary and analysis.
