Demo Days SF

From Steve Organ of eMacsoftware, "I worked the ComputerWare store here in San Francisco for Apple Demo Days. It was a fine affair but what blew me away was how many computers they had on hold. Just for the iMac DV Special Edition alone they had 1200 on order with over 300 prepaid! They were not expecting another shipment for another 2 weeks. As for other products: over 300 G4's on order and several hundred iBooks on order as well. In short, they were out of stock on almost all of Apple's line of computers. Great news for Apple!" [Clearly the demand is there. If only Apple could deliver the supply to meet it.--Bill]
