Installing New OpenGL v1.1.2 Drivers

, noted yesterday as being available for download. The OpenGL installer installs v1.1.2 of the OpenGL drivers (6), new ATi drivers and QuickDraw v1.6. It worked fine on my iMac DV/SE and my PowerMac G4 (Sawtooth) running Mac OS 9. Both of those systems also have ATi graphics chips. Using "Easy Install," I could not get the installer to work on my B&W G3 with a 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 graphics card instead of the stock ATi Rage 128 card. I got a freeze with a blank programmer's window. However, by selecting "Custom Install," I could install the OpenGL drivers alone. If I tried to install the ATi drivers alone, the freeze also occured. Use Custom Install and select the OpenGL drivers and Quickdraw v1.6 if needed.
