Follow Up 2--Apple DVD 2.2 Update

Okay, I discovered the reason why the update didn't work on my PowerMac G4 (AGP) as noted on Thursday and Wednesday. With a bright red face I admit that I forgot that the DVD player only works with an ATI video card. I had my monitor hooked up to a 3dfx Voodoo 2000 video card instead of the stock ATI Rage 128 video card. The software error message appeared because the ATI extensions were disabled. DVD worked fine after changing the monitor to the ATI card and enabling the ATI extensions.
