From the Dark Side--M$ Filed Its Final Plea

late yesterday in the penalty phase of its antitrust trial. Nothing new was presented and it seemed to be pointed at an appeal rather than Judge Jackson according to this News.Com article. The brief's appeal for more time is like "shooting blanks" according to one quoted attorney. Here is the Washington Post article. Judge Jackson will now issue his ruling on the penalty. It will be interesting to see if he expedite's the certain appeal directly to the Supreme Court as allowed by the Sherman Antitrust Act.
