The FireWire-based iBOT desktop video camera delivers a vast improvement in image quality over the current standard USB-based desktop video camera. iBOT taps into the IEEE 1394 data transfer rate of 400 Mb/s (which is 33 times faster than USB's maximum bandwidth of 12 Mb/s) to provide near full screen video - with cinema quality. iBOT is expected to revolutionize the video teleconferencing and home/office video recording markets."
