Mac OS 9 Audio Update 1.2 Problem

From Eugene Chan, "Mac OS ROM 3.2.1 which was installed by Audio Update 1.2, will not boot my rev. A iMac. The first time I installed it, it hung on start-up (displaying the happy mac on top of the folder icon.) I booted from a CD, ran several disk utilities and copied Mac OS ROM 3.0 to the system folder. Problem solved, but I still wasn't sure if it was the ROM at fault. I copied ROM 3.2.1 back to the system folder and rebooted. This time, it went into the Open Firmware and commands like 'boot' and 'mac-boot' didn't work. I'm running ROM 3.0 right now...trying to find the most recent ROM other than 3.2.1." [Mac OS ROM v3.2.1 works fine on my iMac DV/SE and B&W G3--Bill]
