Macs in TIME Digital Home

From Dana Baggett, "Time Digital's October 2000 issue carries a story (pg. 32-33) on the 'Top 10 Digital WorkPlaces.' An accompanying 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" color photo spread over the two pages shows a futuristic looking office and many staffers with iBooks, 22" Cinema and 15" Studio displays, an AirPort Base Station and a Strawberry iMac. The caption reads 'Wireless workstations let staff roam at Trinity Communications' Boston offices.' The article reports that at Trinity, a marketing company with 70 employees, 'Macintosh's AirPort system allows staff members to wander wirelessly around the comfortable Boston headquarters while accessing the Web, sharing files and sending e-mail, all at broadband speed.' The list of the top 10 includes some well-known names -- Cisco, Charles Schwab, Ford Motor Co., Dell, Intel and Oracle -- but the biggest photograph features Macs at Trinity, which was listed second after Cisco in the story. Yeah!

"BTW. A citrus iMac, a blueberry iMac keyboard and an original iMac mouse -- in your face, you critics of my beloved hockey puck mouse -- are used in illustrations later in the magazine (pgs 66, 68-69) for a piece on online cooking classes. Macs Rule!"
