New Apple Pro Keyboard Works with Power Mac G4 "Yikes!" and Retail Mac OS 9 CD

says Joe DelPopolo. "I read that piece about the Pro Keyboard on MacFixIt today and tested it out for myself. I only tested the Pro Keyboard because I don't have a Pro Mouse. On my Yikes!, the Pro Keyboard worked fine when I booted the system from the Mac OS 9 retail CD, and when I booted from my main HD with all extensions off." Later Joe added, "I found the original install CD (8.6+) that came with my Yikes!, and the Pro Keyboard worked fine (except for the 4 new buttons, of course) when I booted from the CD."
