Princeton LCD17 for $1299

LCDs are big at COMDEX. Here's an excerpt from Princeton's press release, "Princeton Graphic Systems Inc., introduces the LCD17, a 17-inch LCD monitor that combines quality and affordability.Offering high-quality performance and features at a low retail price of $1,299, the LCD17 offers a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024, a contrast ratio of 200:1 and a brightness level of 200 cd/m2. The new display also automatically scales images to fill the screen at any resolution, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. In addition, the LCD17 features two bezel-integrated stereo speakers, which enhance any user's computing experience. Measuring only three inches deep and weighing a mere 10 pounds, the LCD17 uses 90 percent less desktop space while weighing only a fraction of the standard CRT display. In addition, a tilt base is integrated into the LCD display for improved ergonomics." The press release states that the LCD17 is Mac compatible but not whether it supports the DVI or ADC connectors.
