Cro-Mag Rally Demo is Out

From Pangea's Brian Greenstone, "Pangea Software, Inc., publishers of the popular Macintosh game titles Nanosaur and Bugdom, today announced availability of Cro-Mag Rally their latest ground-breaking, 3-D racing game, only for the Mac. A free upgrade to Mac OS X, Apples next generation operating system, will be available early next year. In Cro-Mag Rally the user simulates a speed-hungry caveman (Brog) who races through the Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages in primitive vehicles. Brog has at his disposal an arsenal of primitive weaponry ranging from Bone Bombs to Chinese Bottle Rockets and Heat Seeking Homing Pigeons. Cro-Mag Rally includes single-player racing, where a single player races against the computer, as well as several multi-player modes including Tag, Capture the Flag, and Survival. Two players can play on a single computer in split-screen mode, or up to 6 players can play over a network. Cro-Mag Rally may be purchased directly from Pangea Software for $39.95, or from most retail and mail order stores that carry Macintosh software beginning Monday, November 20." The demo is a 40 MB download. It includes OpenGL 1.2.1 and the latest ATI drivers. I tried it out and think those who enjoyed Nanosaur and Bugdom will enjoy Cro-Mag Rally.
