SmoothType 2.2.2 is Out

SmoothType is a shareware ($10) control panel that brings Mac OS X style font smoothing to Macs running System 7 through Mac OS 9. [9:00a 11/18] 3dfx Voodoo5 Mac PCI 3D Cards Price Drops to $202.93 (3dfx's list price dropped from $329 to $229) according to Shopper.Com. Onvia lists the Voodoo5 at $204.67 with free shipping. This large price drop follows the quantity shipping of the very competitive Radeon card ($299 list and $224 street) by ATI (see our comparo review) and the news that 3dfx will stop manufacturing its cards inhouse.
