Connectix and Sony Settle Virtual Game Station Lawsuit
IMHO, this is a big win for Connectix. They've probably sold as many copies of CVGS as they're going to, as the product has had plenty of time to find its way to buyers (they've also dropped its price, put out a barely-crippled demo, and started bundling a free PSX game with each copy). Recent updates haven't been substantial and there's really no place left to go with the app -- the usefulness of CVGS depends on a supply of new PlayStation games to play on it, and that supply is drying up very fast as developers move to PlayStation 2. It's a win for Connectix because they get to end the lawsuit and actually get money out of Sony for a product that probably wouldn't generate much more revenue anyway.
