Internet Explorer 5.1.1 for Mac OS X

is available via the Software Update control panel in Mac OS X. We downloaded the 7.8 MB file and installed it. The splash screen at launch still says its 5.1 Preview Release. "About Internet Explorer" says its version 5.1b1 (3408). The software version file says it is "Internet Explorer 5 5.1.1 (build 2Cheetah4P27). We couldn't find anything with the download that described what has been updated. [Update: Ross Smith pointed us to a Microsoft web page and a new Apple TIL that lists 15 fixes/enhancements. We have used IE 5.1.1 without incident for a day but we still prefer OmniWeb.]
