is being distributed to quarterly subscribers by Micromat. CDs which boot the latest Macs are in the mail and a special download server is available to them--the file is password protected. The updater will be available to other registered owners of TechTool Pro 3.0.x soon. Here's what's new in version 3.0.5:

    - Added new panel: File Lab. Allows modification of file and folder attributes.
    - New Protection File dialog for Data Recovery allows more flexible data recovery.
    - Enhanced Check for Updates function.
    - Added support for Mac OS 9.2.1
    - Added more conflicts to conflict database.
