Apple "Flagship" Stores

When Apple announced the opening of the NYC Soho Apple Store, we reported that Apple noted it will be a "flagship" store. What does that mean? Well, we've been looking into it and our sources in the Big Apple say that the Soho Apple Store will be a "flagship" because it will have two stories, a larger retail floor and a larger theater plus conference rooms. We'll get to see it for ourselves next week when it opens on July 18th during MWNYC 2002.
