Follow Up--Drive 10 v1.0.5 Updater

We noted on Friday that v1.0.5 was available for download. Here's what's new from the Read Me file,

* Fixes for French localization.
* Fixes reported .0Bytes bug for Volume Content Size in Rebuild/Repair Volume.

We installed the updater with no problems and ran it on our main Mac OS X 10.1.3 partition from our iPod. Drive 10 still takes a long time to check and repair volume structures. It took 10 minutes to complete Task 4 of 7 with 220,837 steps while checking for errors. Unfortunately, it found some. While repairing the partition, Drive 10 appeared to freeze after 30 minutes at step 432,767 out of 433,435 steps during Task 2 of 3 but after 6 minutes of no apparent activity the number of steps increased to 647,896 and it continued for another 15 minutes. Altogether, it took just over an hour to check and repair our principal X partition. Our other Mac OS 9.2.2 partitions and two external FireWire drives (one our iPod) with Mac OS X 10.1.3 received a relatively quick clean bill of health.

[Update] Drive 10 v1.0.5 Updater to Micromat's drive utility for Mac OS X is available for download from the MIT archive. [VersionTracker] It's not yet listed on Micromat's web site.

[Update] Unreal Tournament for X Preview 3 is available for download. It claims to fix the "floppy" cursor control issue and others.
