Follow Up on Yesterday's Article "A Future Look--What Could Apple Do?"

We left out a couple of items according to reader Skip Rockey:

"I think Apple really does need to put back a way of powering OFF/ON or resetting the system on the systems front panel. Too often we find many of the systems are left in a 'hung' state without any clue where the eMac's 'white' hidden button located on the side of the systems. Most Windows folks have no clue how to power ON/OFF or reset Macintosh systems."

"We (lab managers) also need some better tools FROM Apple to deploy lab images. The only 'simple' way at present, is to use Carbon Copy Cloner. This at present is being suggested by Apple engineers and sales folks as the way to deploy lab images. Maybe Apple needs to purchase this product to add to their arsenal of utilities."
