NAV 7 February Virus Definitions Updated?

From Dana Baggett, "You recall I noted that I found February virus definition updates for NAV 7 via LiveUpdate on Jan. 31. [We posted the note on 2/1] Well, today LiveUpdate found a new package of updates dated Feb. 1 and trashed all of the ones dated Jan. 31."

[Update] TaxCut 2002 Federal Version Update Available: From Bob Unger, "Launched TaxCut tonight and found a federal tax version update. The automatic update installer didn't work for me (OS X 10.1.2) but a manual download installed OK."

[Update] Maine iBook Deal--Positive Editorial in the Bangor Daily News. According to Maine resident Dana Baggett, "The BDN is Maine's largest daily newspaper in circulation. When last I looked, it was over 70,000 even though the Bangor-Brewer area is less than half that size. It publishes something like five regional editions that cover the northern half of the state geographically. Generally, it has been conservative politically over the years."

"So, this is an outstanding editorial from an unlikely source. It's also an in-your-face response to Mary Adams, an ultra conservative, who was quoted in the same paper recently suggesting that computers in the hands of kids was Evil Incarnate apparently based on stories coming out of Henrico County, VA. Rural up-state legislators may be favorably influenced by this editorial; their constituents' kids stand to gain a lot by keeping iBooks in the budget."
