OWC Sells 60 MB 2.5" Portable FireWire Drive

Other World Computing (OWC) introduced the OWC Mercury On-The-Go 60 gigabyte (GB), 2.5-inch portable Firewire drive - the largest 2.5-inch portable Firewire storage solution available on the market. The drive features an Oxford 911 chipset, a 60 GB IBM Travelstar drive and a maximum data transfer rate of 400 megabits per second. The drive weighs less than 11 ounces and fits in the palm of a hand. The new 60 GB, 2.5-inch, 5400RPM drive is available exclusively from OWC for $639.97. All drives come with a one-year warranty.
