The Bad

My monitor had one dead pixel right out of the box.

The maximum resolution is 1024x768 and while that's plenty of room for most consumers, it can be pretty annoying for prosumers. I would have preferred less color depth and more resolution. Also annoying is that sometimes antialiased text looks kind of weird on the LCD.

DVDs sometimes tend to flicker on the LCD display. The first time I put Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within in the DVD player I got a message saying that it would only play in a region 1 DVD player, and I could not configure the player software. I then put Shrek in and it asked me which region I was in. Hmph.

The computer comes with a modem cord, but not an ethernet cord. Why? And I had problems fitting the ethernet cord into its appropriate slot.
