What you get

The well-padded retail box contains the 1 GHz G4 CPU board with a heat sink plate attached, a Panasonic PanaFlo 15x80x80 mm 2-wire fan, 2 fan mounting screws, a printed installation instruction sheet with many photos and a DVD disc. The PowerForce G4 Series 100 for the Cube has a different heat sink plate and fan than does the version for the Power Mac G4 tower. The Cube's plate is solid and about 1/8" thick. Its fan is separate because it is installed in the fan bracket at the base of the Cube's core. The DVD has an excellent movie of the installation process, a PDF of the printed instruction sheet and an HTML file that directs one to the PowerLogix web page to download the cache enabling software for OS 9 and OS X.
