Confirmed--Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) Shipping Today

We have confirmation from several readers, our own credit card and Apple Store's Order Status that that Panther is shipping today. Credit cards were charged yesterday and the Order Status changed to show 2-day shipping rather than 3-5 days. Expect your copy of Panther pre-ordered from the on line Apple Store on Friday afternoon as the Apple ad and our news item stated.

Apple Stores will begin demos of Panther and selling copies at 8 p.m. on Friday. One can also enter a drawing to win a 15-inch iMac. Check out the festivities here.
