Earthlink Flogs Spammers in Court

EarthLink said in a statement on Wednesday, according to this report, that it has won a $16.4 M judgment in U.S. District Court against a notorious spammer who sent 825 million unsolicited e-mails. It also obtained an injunction preventing the "Buffalo Spammer" from sending any spam to anyone in the future. The report also indicates that EarthLink won a $25 M judgment last year from a different spammer who had sent a billion e-mails. [Dana Baggett]
