Sobig Virus' Motive is Money
according to this ZDNet article. The Sobig virus strain allows spammers to mass mail from compromised tens of thousands of computers without a trace of the real spammer. This affects, if not infects, Macs. Sobig F, which is dying out now, may not be the last version because of the virus' profit motive. [Dana Baggett]
