Wi-Fi Networks Expand to Court Systems and Whole Cities

The Bernalillo County, New Mexico, court system, including judges, juries and lawyers, is becoming wired according to this Computerworld article. Phase 1 is completed including voice over IP and phase 2 is scheduled for completion in December. The article also mentions that tomorrow the city of Hermosa Beach, CA, is turning on its first installment of free Wi-Fi thoughout the city. [Dana Baggett]
